O "umwelt" da Capoeira Angola

A partir de uma perspectiva co-evolutiva do corpo com o seu ambiente, este texto busca aproximar certas questões em torno da experiência corporal que acontece na capoeira angola em Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. Este ensaio propõe a idéia de Umwelt (UEXKULL, 1992) para pensar o ‘universo particular’ que se constrói no interagir dos corpos dos capoeiristas e o ambiente da capoeira. Pretende-se estudar determinadas metáforas no/do corpo do capoeirista, nas quais se transmitem conceitos e idéias da capoeira, ao mesmo tempo que se atualiza o seu ambiente. Assim, será observada, como experiência física e cultural (LAKOFF e JOHNSON, 1980), a capoeira angola que constrói um universo simbólico, político e estético que não corresponde, necessariamente, com os valores culturais da sociedade onde está inserida.
