Una crítica a Danto y Dickie desde la Sociología del arte

In this article a methodological criticism is presented against the two maximum referents of the institutional theory of art from its philosophical approach. From the sociological principles according to which the reflection on the institutions must be structured on the concepts of "agent", "interest" and "mechanism", will be poses the theoretical weakness of Arthur C. Danto and George Dickie. In turn, it will be considered this weakness as the main cause of the frequent logical inconsistencies in both.
